Our mission
At The Exchange Food & Drink we are dedicated to providing a wonderful dining experience through great food, drinks and service.
We also believe it is crucial to be a great place to work. The ownership and management team work hard to provide a warm, respectful and fun environment for our employees.
Our Philosophy
We believe in offering fresh, made-from-scratch food from the finest ingredients possible in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
We strive to provide warm, friendly and knowledgeable service to all of our guests. Whenever possible we source products from local farms such as Wild Acres Game Farm, Fox Farms and Midwest Salad.
Our Space
We took over our location in the Spring of 2014 and spent several months transforming the location into something that was not previously present in the area.
Working with local designers and artists, as well as the New Brighton Historical Society, we have created a casual, comfortable dining room and bar for our guests.

We chose this restaurant based on its proximity to where we were going. The garlic fries were outstanding, it was way more than the SIX of us could eat. I had the umami bomb, a mushroom pizza which was delicious. I couldn't eat it all, huge portions. The service was great and the kids menu had great variety as well. We live in Chicago, but if we had the chance we'd definitely go back! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I, along with our 2 twenty something children had dinner here on a Saturday night. To summarize, great food and service! The menu has creative takes on classic burgers and sandwiches that were a hit with my crew. My foodie son loved his pumpernickel burger melt, and my husband raves about his OMGato burger. Nice decor and ambiance. Good beer selection. We will definitely be back!

I had the Kimchee that were on point.The fish was grilled to perfection and the Kimchee had the right amount of heat and flavor. Who would of thought one of the best tacos can be found in New Brighton. I wish I could remember the name of the waitress she was perfect. This lady had some Moxy, she was professional and on point with her recommendations. Make sure to stop in for a meal this place is legit.

Went in and grabbed some food to go from Exchange and I was very excited to try their menu. I ended up ordering the Cuban and BLT and both were YUM YUM NUM! Owner was super kind and welcoming. Beautiful patio and inside the restaurant, everything was done so beautifully. I can't wait to go back, visit and try more of the menu. 10 Thumbs up!

I don't normally review, but this place was fantastic. Service was quick and polite, burgers were made excellently (though I personally would ask for extra seasoning) and the loaded baked potato fries are better than I could have asked for. Even the pickles and all the sauces are made in house.
